MSDS Information
Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) shows the information about chemicals that may be used in products. The document supplies employers, employees, and other health and safety representatives with the important information to manage the risk of any hazardous substance exposure.
The MSDS must state the following:
- Product name of the hazardous substance
- Chemical & generic name of ingredients
- Hazardous substance’s chemical & physical properties
- Health hazard information
- Safe use & handling precautions
- Manufacturer / importer name, Australian address & telephone number
